Random Curiosity’s Omni’s Fall 2008 anime preview!
You can find a very good preview of a lot of the upcoming anime series on here.
Now begs the question, what to watch? I’m trying to keep it low for now, but I’ll update with what I think looks interesting in a bit.
So in the end, a lot of things looks too good to pass on.
So here’s what I’ll watch.
For sure
toradora!: I’ve heard only but good things about this one and seriously, Kugimiya Rie (Shana from Shakugan no Shana and Louise from Zero no tsukaima) is enough to warrant at least a glance. Â Add to that Love Hina’s Naru’s Horie Yui and no reason for skipping on this.
Hyakko: Again, I don’t know about the story, but Hirano Aya  (Haruhi, Konata from Lucky Star and Chiko from Nijuu mensou musume), is enough for me to take it into great consideration.  Add to that Horie Yui again? Damn!
Akane Iro ni Somaru Saku: This time it’s Hirano Aya and Kugimiya Rie, Â this screams AWESOME.
CLANNAD AFTER STORY: I’ll watch this and be a sad panda again.
Linebarrels of Iron: I’ll be honest, I didn’t read anything about it, it just jumped to my eyes, and it was enough for me. Hirano Aya and Mamiko Noto in the same series? AWESOMEST!!
Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae: Third season, is this a prequel or a sequel? 2nd one seemed like it very much closed it all up. Weird.
Kannagi : Yamamoto Yutaka (Suzumiya haruhi no yuutsu ending dance, Lucky Star opening dance..) directing. Â Most likely worth it. Story doesn’t look that bad either.
To Aru Majutsu no Index: Story Omni compares to Mx0? I hope it doesn’t end prematurely… So yeah, interesting me.
Vampire Knight Guilty: Still haven’t gotten around the manga, second season, let’s see how this goes.
KUROZUKA: Vampires living through medieval to futuristic times. Â Somehow makes me think of Interview with a vampire and Highlander. Â Intriguing enough to check it out.
Maybe:
Shikabane Hime Aka: What grabbed my attention here is Gurren Lagann’s team is involved. Could end up really good.
Kuroshitsuji: Butlers are almost as manly as MAID GUY!
Yozakura Quartet: Looks interesting, dunno if I’d be able to get hook on this one though.
Tentai Senshi Sunred: A parody of masked super heroes?! If the humor is good, I’ll grab it.
Skip Beat!: Characters look interesting, if they really are, it might grab my attention.
Kemeko-DX:Â More Kugimiya Rie, but this one, I’m not sold on the rest. Will see.
Mouryou no Hako: Mystery thriller with Clamp designed characters, might or might not like.
CHAOS;HEAD: Bloody.
Michiko to Hatchin: Looks fun. I want to destroy a prison that’s supposedly impossible to break out of.
Well that’s it. So 10 series I’ll definitely get hooked on, and 9 I might also consider. Â So much for wanting to tone down on anime watching.
