I’ve been lurking on the Crunchyroll forums lately.  Let me tell you, this ain’t pretty.  Let’s put it in situation first.  What is Crunchyroll? It’s an anime streaming website.  Nothing special here you say? Well I’d agree with you if it wasn’t for the fact that the website is 100% legal and has an exclusive deal with the Japanese studios to provide multicasts (broadcasting online the same day it airs in Japan).

They introduced a paying subscription earlier this month and removed all fansubs from their site to go 100% legit. This is what we have been fighting for, quick access to anime without the long localisation process.  And now you kids are unhappy that people that pay to help the industry get’s to see anime before you do?  You scream unfair because you don’t have money and stuff.  Well you have alternatives to get the paid subscriptions, like filling in surveys and stuff to get a free paid subscription.  Well it seems that’s too much to ask, as you little shit don’t understand that anime isn’t a right, but a luxury product that involves hours and money to make.  So you prefer using those other sites that publishes youtube quality crap and call a legit and awesome attempt like Crunchyroll a ripoff? Who are you trying to kid? Get a job, damnit!

Go and subscribe to Crunchy Roll here and watch awesome stuff like the Tower of Druaga and Skip Beat, while still encouraging the industry.  All episodes are also free to watch, sometimes at the same time as they air in Japan, even for   non-paying folks. You can’t get 480p if you’re not paying though. Some other times there’s a few days delay for exclusivity purpose, but that’s to be expected.  I’m never going to stress this enough, at least this way you’re helping Anime, and not just sucking up on a fragile industry.
