New acheievement details have been found according to Destructiod. These new acheievements hint at what the second, and last, bit of DLC will entail for Mass Effect before we begin our journey through Mass Effect 2.

Destructiod also has a nice quote from one of the systems designers Christina Norman,

The new Achievements are labeled as follows:

• Undisputed (50) — Complete Ahern’s survival mission
• New Sheriff in Town (50) — Take first place in any combat scenario on Pinnacle Station
• Best of the Best (50) — Take first place in 12 combat scenarios on Pinnacle Station

Speaking to me extensively about the “Bring Down the Sky,” Mass Effect systems designer Christina Norman teased this new piece of content as dissimilar and heavy on the combat:  “The next DLC for Mass Effect is really nothing like ‘Bring Down the Sky,’ or any other content in Mass Effect,” Norman told me. “Many people enjoyed the content, but we wanted to try something completely different. It’s taken a while, but I hope in the end fans will really enjoy it! I think combat-focused gamers in particular will like it.”

I personally hope that this new DLC will at the least be slightly better than Bring Down the Sky and at the most include some tie in with the next game in the series, Mass Effect 2. From looking at the achievements it sounds like this DLC may be similar to some sort of Battle Arena…just hope the story involved is better than the majority of the side missions.
