Only point I’ll disagree on: “Enough money” is quite subjective and assuming they were satisfied with Dookie. Oh and they were considered by a lot of people to be sellouts even before Dookie. It’s just that we happen to like their older stuff, and not the new one.

American Idiot and (to a slightly lesser extent 21st Century Breakdown, even though the latter is just the songs that didn't fit on the former) are superbly crafted pieces of work. They're grown up albums, not just a bunch of songs thrown together. As for selling out - have they?
