Well, time for the gaming world to “recover” from the “drought” of the summer, so it’s time for a lot more “interesting”/noteworthy releases than in the last few months.
This time there’s releases on every system which is good. 3 DS releases, 2 PC releases, 3 PS3 exclusives, 2 PSP releases, 1 Wii release, 2 360 exclusive releases and 10 multiplatform releases. Everyone should at least find one interesting game to play in here.
So yeah, read on to see what possibly interesting games are comming in september 2010!

Well that took way too long to come out. The first Monster Rancher DS game came out in japan in 2007, and a second one came out in 2008. On the american side of the world, nothing. Surprisingly, 2 years later, it was announced for the US. Not the first game that came out in japan, but the second one, so one of them was skipped (which is probably a good thing).
After the announcement, it was said to come out in March… and then it was delayed a month, and then it was delayed 2 months, and then it was delayed another month, just to be delayed another 2 weeks. Damn! I have no idea why it was delayed so much… and it did change publishers on the way which is pretty weird. But finally the wait is over and we can play the game!
Monster Rancher isn’t a series I played a lot of… I played Monster Rancher Advance a bit, and Monster Rancher Advance 2 a LOT, but I haven’t played any of the PS1/PS2 versions of the series, so I missed the novelty of summoning monsters using any disc you could find in your home. But still, I loved playing the GBA games in the series, they remain as my most played games on the system.
So… read on and see if the huge amount of wait was worth it!

We’re still pretty much in the “summer drought” for August, but there’s still a few interesting/noteworthy releases. Even some that might be worth buying! I found 11 games to put in the list for August, obviously ignoring the crap/shovelware.
This month there are: 3 multiplatform releases, 1 PS3 release, 1 Nintendo DS release, 2 Xbox 360 releases, 2 Nintendo Wii releases, and 2 PSP releases. August is PC’s turn not to get interesting exclusive releases.
Read on and see what might interesting you in August!

The Nintendo DS has proven, through its multiple versions to be a solid product in terms of marketing and mass appeal. Nintendo was ready at this year’s E3 to let part of the public get their hands on the next iteration of their portable gaming system, the Nintendo 3DS.
I’ve had the chance to try it after waiting a relatively short time (about 25 minutes in line) and I’ve got good things and bad things to say about it.

Wow, when I went and listed the games coming in July, I didn’t think only 8 kinda interesting games would come out. But not to worry, there’s at least some really badass long-awaited releases in the month.
This month there are only: 3 multiplatform release, 1 PC release, 1 Nintendo DS release, 1 Nintendo Wii release, 1 Xbox 360 release and 1 PSP release. Yeah, no good PS3 exclusive releases in July. That’s it, everything else that comes out is either shovelware, or not worth mentionning.
Read on and see what interests you in July!
**EDITED: Monster Rancher DS should release by August 4th, according to the email I received by the company, so I’m removing it from this list**
**ANOTHER EDIT: Monkey Island 2 added to Multiplatform Releases list**
**YET ANOTHER EDIT: Hydro Thunder Hurricane added to Xbox 360 Release list**

Well the E3 conferences are done. Some of them sucked, one of them was fucking awesome, and here I am to give my impressions on them.
I’ll comment about both things that were announced, and my impressions about the conferences as a whole. There were 5 big conferences, and I’ll talk about all of them, though I will just skim through the less interesting ones.
And I know that E3 isn’t done yet, more could be announced, but this is just about the conferences.
So read on!

Sometimes you’ll skip on a game because it looks ridiculous, or just lame and cliche. Just looking at the box art and title, I think the first thing that comes to mind is “Pokemon mixed with… Mario Kart?”, and I fully understand. And that first thought is half-true: it does have a lot of similarities to Pokemon. And it also sounds REALLY lame, and I was very reluctant to check it out.
The only reason I even paid any attention to this game is that, each time I looked at DS release lists, I always misread the title as “Monster Rancher”, a game that I am highly anticipating. I decided to check it out anyways, hoping that it would be decent.
So read on and see if it’s just a half-baked Pokemon rip-off, or if it’s actually any good!

I don’t have much to say for an introduction, as the releases in June are a bit underwhelming. With Metroid: Other M being delayed, there’s not too much that seems to be worth more than a rent.
But there’s a few interesting releases for sure. As usual, I’m only listing the games that are interesting, or popular. 7 multi-platform releases, 2 Wii releases, 2 Playstation 3 releases, 1 Xbox 360 release, 2 PSP releases and 3 Nintendo DS releases. And one of them is a Japanese release. So be sure to check the list out!
**EDIT: Arc Rise Fantasia seems to have been delayed**

Well finally I played enough of this game to be able to review it. RPGs are always hard to review because you need to put in a lot of time to see everything the game has to offer, and see all the systems the game uses. It’s no different with this one.
This is actually the first time I play a game in the Shin Megami Tensei main series (comprised of Shin Megami Tensei 1, 2 and 3, Shin Megami Tensei if…, and the newest entry in the series, Strange Journey). I mean, I played some Persona games, Nocturne, DemiKids (on GBA), Revelations: The Demon Slayer (on Game Boy Color), but those are all spin-off titles of the Shin Megami Tensei series, but I never actually played any of the main titles…
So read on and see if I liked my first game in the main series!

It’s that time again, where I list and comment about monthly releases. The month of May seems to hold a few very interesting releases, including my most anticipated game of the year.
This month we have 9 multi-platform releases, 2 Playstation 3 releases, 1 Xbox 360 release (plus one in japan as well), 2 Wii releases, 4 PSP releases and 2 DS releases. Of course, this only includes noteworthy releases.
The multiplatform releases indicate what systems they’re coming to, and if a release is Japan-only it’s properly marked as such.
Read on and see if May has anything that might interest you!
