Sonic 4! A true sequel to the Genesis series of Sonic games! Or so this is what it was advertised as. I wasn’t the only one who was caught by the hype.
But, as with most people, I was a slight bit skeptical about it since, you know, Sonic didn’t get a proper console game since… let’s say Adventure 2, but even that had a lot of lameness (AKA all the levels where you didn’t control Sonic/Shadow). The handheld games were okay, though never anywhere near the quality of the Genesis titles, but otherwise Sonic has really been having trouble, and frankly no one can deny that.
I did play the iPhone version when that came out, but I’ll comment on that later.
So read on and see if Sonic is moving away from sucking, or if he’s staying in his comfort zone of crap.
(I’ll be trying out a new review format here, just to see if I like it better than my usual “categories” stuff)

Everyone loves Castlevania, right? One of the more interesting series in the gaming industry. There’s the super-hard classic games, the metroid style games, and the not-too-good 3D action games, it has spanned a lot of game genres. And, other than the 3D games, they’re all really damn good (yes, even Simon’s Quest… which would have been awesome if the translation wasn’t terrible, because you really NEED a guide to finish it since the townspeople are really useless).
Well, Castlevania is tackling a new genre again: puzzles! And just to be completely weird, it’s a remake of Symphony of the Night… Weird.
So read on and see if it’s any good!

Dark Void on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC was terrible. The only interesting element about it was this, Dark Void Zero. An NES style game that came out on the DSi as a downloadable game. The idea of releasing it on DSi was kinda random, considering the actual game wasn’t on a Nintendo console, and I couldn’t play it since I don’t have a DSi… So when the game finally came out on PC and iPhone I downloaded it as soon as it came out (the PC version that is).
This is going to be quite short as there’s really not too much to say about the game.
So read on, and see if Dark Void Zero is better than its horrible console counterpart!

Plants VS Zombies originally came out on the PC last year, and the iPhone/iPod Touch version was constantly being delayed. But now it’s finally out.
Does it hold up to the PC version, or should people just pay a bit extra for a better experience?
Read on and see!
(NOTE: this will be extremely short… I’ll mostly talk about the port’s quality)

There were quite a few announcements at E3 that caused the most excitement within me. Being a fan of Mass Effect, I enjoyed every minute of the Mass Effect 2 previews along with the news of an Iphone game being made that will tie in with a couple of characters found in Mass Effect 2. Sadly, I find it barely lives up to its expectations.
