A new Devil May Cry game was announced. Awesome, right? Well, most DMC fans don’t seem to agree, and I’m one of those.

While the fanbase for Devil May Cry is in an outrage right now, there’s also a large amount of morons thinking that we’re whining for no good reason.

So I’m here to shed some light on the issue, and explain just exactly why people are complaining, and hopefully people will understand why we’re complaing and that the complaints are legit.

The guys (and gals?) of Creat Studios [Digger HD, Cuboid, Mushroom Wars, Hamsterball and more] are bringing you a new PSP Minis game this week.

Freekscape: Escape from Hell is the name of the game, playable on either your PSP or your PS3.

The game has you trying to escape Hell and mixes platforming and puzzles similarly to what seems to me as a Kirby game.

Freek found a magic trident that can change powers depending on the monsters you grab with it, and helps you solve puzzles, rings a bell a bit, doesn’t it?

You can watch the trailer on the PlayStation Blog and grab the game when it comes out this Thursday at the irregular PSN Store update time for $4,99.

Well, now that we’re done with our Games of the Year awards, it’s time to look into what great games are coming out next year.

Just a few notes here:
1. This is using knowledge we have as of the writing of this post (December 27th 2009). We obviously can’t see in the future, so we can’t predict delays, or unnanounced releases.
2. We will not update this list as the year goes by, unless there’s lots of demand for it.
3.  This only includes “interesting” games, so no shovelware and such.
4. We also include games that might not come out in 2010, but that there might be a remote chance of them coming…
5. If we’re missing something don’t hesitate to tell us.

Well, September is passing along nicely, giving us a few interesting releases.

But October… oh man, there’s tons of great stuff coming. Both on the multi-platform side and for system exclusives, there’s tons of potentially great releases. Even the PSP has some interesting releases.

As usual, the game title is in bold, the release date is italicized, and for multi-platform games the systems they are coming for are between parenthesis. Only 1 game on the list this month is a japanese release so I’ve marked it appropriately.

Some of you out here reading this might have played a custom map in Warcraft III called DotA that has been around since 2003. Some might have played that intensively. Well it seems some loved the custom map so much that it warranted a standalone game to be made around its concept. Heck, it seems like three games were made from that concept. The released Demigod, the upcoming Heroes of Newerth and the title I’m here to talk about today, Leagues of Legends: Clash of Fates.

I was aware for a while, hearing some co-worker talk about it, that Dota existed as a custom WCIII map, but I never really knew what it was all about, and since I don’t own a copy of WCIII, I never went around and try it.  So when I applied to try out the Beta, I mentioned that I was a complete noob to the concept, but was looking forward to learn what was all the hype about.  So is this concept of a game good or over-rated like a lot of hyped stuff? We currently don’t have much going in the way of features on here. We do reviews, sometimes random rants, or commenting on news. And that’s pretty much it. We have almost no actual features.

As for actual features, there’s my high desolate “Jobocan’s Arcade Center” posts that I keep forgetting about and hasn’t had a post in months (though I plan to do more of them soon). And there’s the monthly “Games that are coming out next month” posts which are really just there for informational purposes. But that’s pretty much all we have when it comes to features.

It’s finally accessible to the public. The demo to Batman Arkham Asylum. we can now get a glimpse at the game and see if the hype is waranted.

I mean, the game looks good on paper, and the previews and such made it look quite interesting. Well I’ve gone through quite a few playthroughs of the demo, so here are my first impressions!
