Well, time for the gaming world to “recover” from the “drought” of the summer, so it’s time for a lot more “interesting”/noteworthy releases than in the last few months.
This time there’s releases on every system which is good. 3 DS releases, 2 PC releases, 3 PS3 exclusives, 2 PSP releases, 1 Wii release, 2 360 exclusive releases and 10 multiplatform releases. Everyone should at least find one interesting game to play in here.
So yeah, read on to see what possibly interesting games are comming in september 2010!

We’re still pretty much in the “summer drought” for August, but there’s still a few interesting/noteworthy releases. Even some that might be worth buying! I found 11 games to put in the list for August, obviously ignoring the crap/shovelware.
This month there are: 3 multiplatform releases, 1 PS3 release, 1 Nintendo DS release, 2 Xbox 360 releases, 2 Nintendo Wii releases, and 2 PSP releases. August is PC’s turn not to get interesting exclusive releases.
Read on and see what might interesting you in August!

Wow, when I went and listed the games coming in July, I didn’t think only 8 kinda interesting games would come out. But not to worry, there’s at least some really badass long-awaited releases in the month.
This month there are only: 3 multiplatform release, 1 PC release, 1 Nintendo DS release, 1 Nintendo Wii release, 1 Xbox 360 release and 1 PSP release. Yeah, no good PS3 exclusive releases in July. That’s it, everything else that comes out is either shovelware, or not worth mentionning.
Read on and see what interests you in July!
**EDITED: Monster Rancher DS should release by August 4th, according to the email I received by the company, so I’m removing it from this list**
**ANOTHER EDIT: Monkey Island 2 added to Multiplatform Releases list**
**YET ANOTHER EDIT: Hydro Thunder Hurricane added to Xbox 360 Release list**

Well the E3 conferences are done. Some of them sucked, one of them was fucking awesome, and here I am to give my impressions on them.
I’ll comment about both things that were announced, and my impressions about the conferences as a whole. There were 5 big conferences, and I’ll talk about all of them, though I will just skim through the less interesting ones.
And I know that E3 isn’t done yet, more could be announced, but this is just about the conferences.
So read on!

The Disgaea series is probably my favorite RPG series, or at least one of my favorites. The characters, the stories, the humor and the gameplay are all top-notch. Here, you have a Disgaea game that removes any gameplay aspect from the other games, and instead becomes a visual novel, where you basically just read your way through, changing the events with dialogue choices.
This is a rather weird choice. While the visual novel genre is HUGE in Japan, it barely has a fanbase at all in America, and as such will only appeal to hardcore fans of the series, and nothing else, but I’m pleased, if not REALLY surprised, that they released it here anyways.
So let’s go and see if the huge change of gameplay is any good!

I don’t have much to say for an introduction, as the releases in June are a bit underwhelming. With Metroid: Other M being delayed, there’s not too much that seems to be worth more than a rent.
But there’s a few interesting releases for sure. As usual, I’m only listing the games that are interesting, or popular. 7 multi-platform releases, 2 Wii releases, 2 Playstation 3 releases, 1 Xbox 360 release, 2 PSP releases and 3 Nintendo DS releases. And one of them is a Japanese release. So be sure to check the list out!
**EDIT: Arc Rise Fantasia seems to have been delayed**

The first game in the series was awesome. I had tons of playtime and fun from this game which was original and deep. The game also had tons of replay value. When they announced that the sequel was getting localized, I was very happy.
The first game easily won a spot in our 2009 Games of the Year awards in the PSP category. The second seemed to keep the same gameplay, and added various gameplay elements, so there were high hopes for this.
Does it keep the same fun as the first game, or do the changes reduce the game’s overall quality? Read on and see!

It’s that time again, where I list and comment about monthly releases. The month of May seems to hold a few very interesting releases, including my most anticipated game of the year.
This month we have 9 multi-platform releases, 2 Playstation 3 releases, 1 Xbox 360 release (plus one in japan as well), 2 Wii releases, 4 PSP releases and 2 DS releases. Of course, this only includes noteworthy releases.
The multiplatform releases indicate what systems they’re coming to, and if a release is Japan-only it’s properly marked as such.
Read on and see if May has anything that might interest you!

The guys (and gals?) of Creat Studios [Digger HD, Cuboid, Mushroom Wars, Hamsterball and more] are bringing you a new PSP Minis game this week.
Freekscape: Escape from Hell is the name of the game, playable on either your PSP or your PS3.
The game has you trying to escape Hell and mixes platforming and puzzles similarly to what seems to me as a Kirby game.
Freek found a magic trident that can change powers depending on the monsters you grab with it, and helps you solve puzzles, rings a bell a bit, doesn’t it?
You can watch the trailer on the PlayStation Blog and grab the game when it comes out this Thursday at the irregular PSN Store update time for $4,99.
We should also have a review up early this weekend!

I was planning on doing a full review of this game before playing it. But then I put the UMD in my PSP, and after seconds of playing I thought “Wait a second, didn’t I play this before?”. And after checking it up, I did… and heck, I even reviewed it over a year ago. That’s right, Metal Slug XX is actually just a PSP port of the 2008 release of Metal Slug 7 on DS. Yeah… I wasn’t expecting that (since I didn’t inform myself on this game other than knowing it was coming out).
So instead of doing a full review, since I already did that, I’ll just give my impressions on the ports quality.
Here goes! Just a note, this will be a really short review.
