And it’s the start of a new year. We’re done looking back on the greatness of 2011 (at least gaming-wise), now let’s look to the awesomeness 2012 will bring us… maybe.I’m not too sure how much there is to look forward to for the rest of the year, but here’s what’s coming out in January. (I may do a post about my currently most hyped games, we’ll see tomorrow)

Really not a whole lot coming up for January so here we have… 5 (*Edit* 3) Multiplatform games! That’s… it really. No good/interesting/popular exclusives for anything.

Well just because I’m bored, I’m writing this early, yay! October 2011… I was actually expecting more interesting releases, but I guess we may have to wait until November. In the meantime, there’s still a couple interesting games here.

Let’s see… for October 2011 we have:  9 multiplatform releases, 3 PS3 releases, 3 3DS releases, 2 Xbox 360 releases, 2 PC releases and the first truly great Wii release of the year (note: yes Mario Sports Mix was good, but definitely not GREAT)! Don’t forget this only includes interesting or potentially popular games, and it maybe be missing a couple hidden gems (and downloadable games, these rarely get release dates this fast). I try to not include shovelware in these lists.

The big occupied release schedule of the fall is finally starting! This is always a busy time for gamers, and we have TONS of stuff that seem potentially awesome coming out soon.

September sees a good amount of interesting/popular games:  7 multiplatform (Wii, PC, PS3, 360) releases, 8 PS3 releases, 3 3DS releases, 3 DS releases, 1 PSP release and 2 Xbox 360 releases. Don’t forget this only includes interesting or potentially popular games, and it maybe be missing what will be hidden gems. We never know.

Yeah, I’m doing this early, whatever. I’ll update it if needed when july ends.

It may be the summer drought, but there’s still a few interesting releases, right?

Here we have: 1 3DS game, 1 DS game, 2 PS3 games, 1 360 game that was delayed from last month and 3 multiplatform title. Keep in mind this is just “hardcore” games and potentially good games, there’s tons more if you count the shovelware (though I DO include one or two pieces of shovelware this time, by obligation).

Wow, we’re really slow on posts, aren’t we? Well, hopefully we’ll speed back up soon, but for now, let’s look at the games coming out in April 2011. There’s basically not much coming out in the month, so let’s do this fast.

There’s 3 multi-platform games, 2 PS3 games, 1 Wii game and 2 PSP games.
There might be a DS release (that duke nukem game that shows up on every release list for every month but never ends up coming…. and wasn’t it renamed? Whatever), but I’m not holding off for it, so I might as well not list it. Surprisingly, there’s not a single game coming on the 3DS in April… not even shovelware (well some sites have 2 shovelware games in april, but others have the same games in May, so it’s impossible to know/care). Strange.

Oh wow, I almost forgot to post this… mostly because there’s barely anything coming in December (that always confuses me).

So let’s go quick with this: There’s 3 worthwhile games coming out in December. 2 PC games, and 1 Wii game. Nothing on anything else.

Well, October has been a fairly good month month, hasn’t it? Castlevania which has found a fanbase (despite some people (like me) really not liking it), Kirby being fairly okay, Vanquish kicking ass, ZHP kicking ass, new Fallout, new Fable, NBA Jam being pretty good despite the bad release strategy, Sonic 4 being badass, Lufia being awesome, Rock Band 3… And I could go on. This really has been a good month for gamers, whether you’re more oldschool, more modern, or anything in-between. Rarely does such a diverse month show up.

Will November follow suit? Well, there’s one HUGE DS release, 9 multiplatform releases with a few interesting ones in there, 1 fun PS3 exclusive, 1 BIG release on the Xbox 360…. that might not interest everyone… and 5 Wii releases (4 of which look possibly good).

Wow, we haven’t had a lot of new posts recently… Let’s blame this on the fact that releases have been pretty scarce recently. Or that Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep refuses to be reviewed (the loading times are so horribly long I can’t find myself playing it any more than I have).

But at least I have something to post about, with October on the way. So here’s our monthly list of interesting/notheworthy games coming in the following month. October is getting 16 multiplatform releases, 3 Wii exclusive releases, 1 Xbox 360 exclusive release, 4 Nintendo DS releases and 1 PSP release. No PC or PS3 releases other than multiplatform releases.

Well, time for the gaming world to “recover” from the “drought” of the summer, so it’s time for a lot more “interesting”/noteworthy releases than in the last few months.

This time there’s releases on every system which is good. 3 DS releases, 2 PC releases, 3 PS3 exclusives, 2 PSP releases, 1 Wii release, 2 360 exclusive releases and 10 multiplatform releases. Everyone should at least find one interesting game to play in here.

March was a pretty hard-hitting month, with lots of huge releases across all consoles. Obviously April won’t compare…

But I wasn’t expecting such a low number of note-worthy releases. PS3, Xbox 360, PSP and PC get no interesting exclusive releases, so we’re left with just a few interesting multi-platform releases, 3 DS releases(including 1 japanese release), and 2 Wii releases. A very slow month indeed.

It might be a small month, but still, come and check what are the interesting games coming in April 2010!

As usual, Multiplatform releases first, ordered by date, and if the game is a japanese release it is marked accordingly.
