Thanks for the comment!

I wouldn't specifically say I was a fan of FFXIII, just that I was more forgiving of its obvious flaws than most people were. I know it had problems, but they didn't bother me much as a whole... And yes, I'm also annoyed that they're making a third FFXIII game, it's like SE don't want to make anything original.

I enjoyed your review too, can't really disagree much with what you wrote.

(note: And wow did my writing suck in this review, I can't read a single sentence without finding typos and bad sentence structure... no idea how I let that happen... and I'm clearly over-rating the game :P)

Interesting review but I don't agree with the overall opinion. Then again, we're coming from entirely different positions - as you were clearly a fan of FFXIII, whereas I thought it was one of the worst things to strike the franchise since the FFVII Compilation.

Nevertheless, thanks for sharing, and in return please check out my own review of FFXIII-2:

Actually I forgot about the multiplayer in that game, even though it's actually my favorite part in it. I think it's really the only place where the standard AC gameplay really works (since, in a single-player setting, it just plays itself). Despite, as you said, being made due to the "IT MUST HAVE MULTI TO SUCCEED" mentality, it still manages to be the only part of the series I can really get behind... Which isn't something I thought I'd say :P

I don't know how I feel about classes in Worms.

Purchased Adventure Time and Assassin's Creed 3 already. I want Dishonored as well.

Again, I'd like to state that AC can have as much complexity as you're willing to give it. Much like any game you can chose to learn to play it or just cruise through it. It all depends on how much you're invested in the game itself... again, much like any other game these past few generations (regardless of genre). I skipped 2 and Brotherhood and Going from 1 to Revolution was eye opening to me. They add new elements every time and from what I saw. The Naval combat looks awesome. I thought the tower defense in Revolution was rather neat. I wasn't very good at it though. It is clear that Ubisoft spends a great deal of TLC on this series.

Side note on AC series, I think that whenever they introduced their multi (I'm not sure which version) it probably suffered from the whole IT MUST HAVE MULTI TO SUCCEED mentality. I played a great deal of it in Revolution, it must have been fleshed out or refined by then because I found it surprisingly fun to try and hide from other players and pretend to be an NPC only to surprise them in the end.

It's been WAY too long since I played this, so I don't really remember what I did or not. I'd suggest checking out gamefaqs.com, they probably have some walkthroughs to help you out.
