Demon’s Soul is not only confirmed for a US release, but it’s also confirmed to be part of the “Atlus Spoils fan appreciation program”. So basically it’s getting a special edition.
The special edition comes with a 150+ page strategy guide, and a special edition slipcase.
The game is coming to the Playstation 3 on October 6th 2009. Â It will cost 60$, with an extra 10$ if you opt for the special edition.

Not exactly the biggest RPG series out there, but still a noteworthy one. I never actually finished a Star Ocean game before this one, but I played them all (other than blue sphere) and I really like playing them from time to time.
I’m not a HUGE fan of the series, but I like them anyways, so here are my impressions!

This game is loosely based on a japanese TV show that involves playing retro grames, which is called Game Center CX. I say loosely, because I kinda doubt the story in this game is the same as in the TV show. And add to that the fact that you don’t play any actual retro games, but instead you get a bunch of new games made in a retro style, inspiring their gameplay on actual retro titles.
What I’m reviewing here is basically eight 8-bit games, and I’ll also be reviewing the package as a whole. This will be kinda long…
Well, read on!

When the game was first announced, I was sold after watching the first trailer. However, when it was released here, I couldn’t find it anywhere in stores. After spending quite some time trying to find a copy, I finally managed to get my hand on this rare drop. As I played my way through the game, I was happy to realize that Valkyria Chronicles was keeping up to my expectations and worth the hard time trying to find it. Let’s get started with the review.

Dissidia Final Fantasy was released in Japan on the 18th of December last year, shifting 350’000 units in three days and I was lucky enough to nab a copy for myself on the 29th. Will this be Final Fantasy’s greatest journey? Or is this merely a way for a desperate Square Enix to cling onto their fans and milk their biggest franchise yet?

Hey guys, Kyolux here. Â Haven’t done any review in a while with school and stuff. Â I’m starting to catch up now.
It’s always fun to go back to the roots of a favorite franchise. This is why I was happy to get my hands on Star Ocean First Departure, to revisit Claude’s parents adventure. The game is a remake of the original Star Ocean that was released on the Super Famicom at the end of its lifespan. This remake uses the Star Ocean The Second Story’s engine. I’m a bit lite on it since the game as been out for 2-3 months now, but hit the title for the full review.

Chrono Trigger. Regarded as one of the best, if not the best, RPG on the SNES, some people calling it the best RPG ever. And not without reason, as this is truly a masterpiece. It’s no surprise that the DS remake was long awaited to fans of the series.
After 13 years (the original SNES version was released in 1995), does it still hold its own? And what about the extra content? Let’s check that out!

Wow, just wow. This game is overwhelming, VERY overwhelming. Now I won’t claim I completed the game at all, as I’ve barely scratched the main story, so I won’t really mention anything about it in this review, but feel free to leave your comments down here about the story itself. The game as so many things to let you do, that it doesn’t really matter though.
I’ve been playing the ps3 version, and it has received a lot of bad press, at least compared to its 360 and pc versions, but I didn’t find anything anywhere near game breaking. So if you’re on the fence and PS3, just like me is your only option, don’t hesitate to still get it.
Have you ever played a Fallout game before? I played a quite a few hours of Fallout 1, and couldn’t find time to sink into Fallout 2 back then, and never got my hands on Fallout Tactics. But if you did, you should have a very good idea of what you expect out of this game. The game delivers very well in general.
For those that don’t know, Fallout is an RPG series set in post apocalyptic settings, with a 1950s view on what things would be like if there would have been a nuclear fallout, hence the name. Full review after the save point!

I’m a bit late on this one, but here goes.
Disgaea was an incredible game on the PS2. Â Sporting cool 2D graphics, a great story, incredible characters, and really fun gameplay, it was a must-have on the PS2… Too bad it was basically ignored by the general populace.
This is the second incarnation of the game on handheld consoles. It was on the PSP last year, and now it’s released on the technologically inferior Nintendo DS.
Can the DS handle the awesomeness? Or does the DS’ limitations make the game lame?
